Welcome
I've always been interested in railways, but I was in my 40s before I became involved with preservation, initially with the 'Lion' supporters' group, the Old Locomotive Committee (OLCO). 'Lion' is no longer in steam but I'm still a member of OLCO. I'm also involved with a number of other organisations and I drive regularly at The Battlefield Line, Peak Rail, Derbyshire Dales Railway and the Museum of Science & Industry in Manchester. These are some of the photographs which I've taken or, in a few cases, which friends have taken.
About Me
I've been an electronics engineer for over 40 years and I'm interested in history, the industrial revolution, science, railways and, well, lots of things. I believe in what one of my heroes, Richard Feynmann called "The Joy of Finding Things Out".
